Museum on hill top with a nice view of city. Very informative museum regarding bhutan history. Not so much to explore, but enjoyed my time there. Cameras are not allowed inside but one can keep it into lockers,

A magnificent monastery called tiger nest(Taktsang). located in the middle of cliff which is 3100 m above sea level. One can enjoy a day trek climbing to the monastery through a lovely greener pine trees.

Dochula pass has nice view with clouds surrounding it. Photogenic location. You don't have to go specially to this destination if you are going to punakha from thimpu. It will be on the way.
