SIMTOKHA DZONG(fortress): Simtokha Dzong was built in 1627 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, the kingdom's oldest fortress stand on a lofty ridge.

TRONGSA DZONG: Trongsa Dzong was built in 1648, where crown prince of Bhutan traditionally becomes the Penlop (governor) of Trongsa prior. The Dzong itself is a labyrinth of temples, corridors and offices holding court over the local community. It is built on many levels into the side of the hill and can be seen from every approach to Trongsa.

TAKTSHANG LHAKHANG(Tiger’s Nest)
Bhutan most famous 17th century temple called Taktsang (Tiger's Nest) Monastery, which stands on a rock face 900 meters above Paro valley. In the 8th century Spiritual Master (Guru Rinpoche), who is believed to have arrived here flying on the back of a tigress from Singye Dzong in Lhuntse to meditate in a cave for three month, where Taktsang Monastery now stands To get there, it takes about two hours of uphill walking thought pine forest and If you want riding, an additional cost of $ 25/- per horse is to be paid.

CHANGANGKHA LHAKHANG (Temple): Changangkha Lhakhang was built in 12th century by Lama Phajo Drugom Shigpo, who came from Tibet. The central statue here is Chenrezig in a manifestation with 11 heads. It’s also considered as important temple for new born babies. You can also have a spectacular view of whole Thimphu valley.
