If you are into your archeology then why not visit orkney and stay at Trowietoon which is down at Newark. Then visit the Kirkwall museum where they have a display on show.

A Pictish symbol stone will be on display at the Orkney Museum for the first time this summer as part of an exhibition exploring the history of Newark, Deerness, Orkney.
