"As soon as we walked in we felt at home. Every detail was thought of. The cottage was spotless, organized, and very neat and tidy and everything in the home was in excellent condition and well cared for. The book selection covered every genre and there were books for every age. Our favorite books were The Birds of Orkney and history about the Island. We had a charming view from the living room window of an old stone shed and were able to see brand new baby lambs born hours before in the adjacent field. We could tell Jacqueline and her family take pride in offering this exceptional stay. A perfect Scottish visit, thank you, Jacqueline!" It's always good to have your efforts appreciated.

At Brymire Rentals, we have our own natural world right on the edge of hill ground with a burn running at the back of the properties. Often see the Orkney vole and many varieties of birds including hen harriers, owls, and pheasants as well as the flora and fauna that can be found in the wild area. Why not come visit and view for yourself.
The Orkney Nature Festival features a packed programme of events, including guided wildlife walks, whale-watching sessions, snorkelling safaris, and rockpool explorations.
