We have removed Richmond from the Lakelovers portfolio. Since the sell out to Sykes Cottages, trying to make headway and maintain, let alone improve services has become impossible. They are not a good company to deal with. Too big, too impersonal and insufficiently customer focussed.

Some of the devastation left in the wake of Storm Arwen. Trees down everywhere. Cumbria in chaos with many still having no water or electricity. Arriving at Richmond at about 2230 we had to clamber over a fallen tree blocking the driveway. Thankfully the folk round these parts are made of strong stuff and have a very “”can do” attitude. The drive was open by mid morning and even the neighbours have vehicular access to their property where the whole driveway was uprooted with a falling tree. Interesting times!
