Good evening everyone ,
I have decided to suspend the tour side of my business for the next 12-18 months and concentrate purely on offering wedding car services . This has been a difficult decision to make especially after all the difficulties i experienced when initially setting this up . I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support and especially thank all of you who have taken a tour with me .
As mentioned earlier this is only a temporary change and very much look forward to offering tours again in 2024 , please feel free to contact me through my page if you have any queries regarding tours or weddings .

Just spent a very enjoyable day at the Vintage Festival by the Sea at Morecambe . Lot’s to see and hundreds of people dressed in period clothing from the 1920’s - 1970’s and a great atmosphere. Met some old friends along the way also . A fab event well worth a day out 😁

Many Congratulations to Ben & Amanda who tied the knot today at Skelsmergh Church , Nr Kendal . The weather was perfect and a great time was had by all . This was a last minute booking by Else , chief bridesmaid and my work colleague ( in the real world ) . Thank you Else and I was delighted to provide Guiness at short notice . Welcome to Hawkshead , just one of the fantastic village’s we visit , nestled between Windermere and Coniston Water it sits at the northern end of Esthwaite water . The village’s history is fascinating and dates back over 1500 years , with charming narrow cobbled streets and overhanging buildings , it really is extremely pretty . William Wordsworth attended the old Grammar School from 1779 - 1787 and Beatrix Potter’s husband William Heelis had his Solicitor’s offices in the centre of the village , which now house the Beatrix Potter Gallery .

Return of an old friend ! Nancy took a tour with me last month to celebrate her Golden Wedding Anniversary ,she obviously enjoyed it so much she decided to treat her lovely daughter Kirsty to a Afternoon Tea Tour from the Inn On The Lake at Ullswater , the sun shone and we all enjoyed a carefree afternoon . Just perfect!

I had the privilege of taking Katie , Carla and Tony on a fabulous half day tour of the Southern Lakes today , this was a special treat for Tony who has been unwell recently , he has come to the lakes for a mini break for some much needed fun and relaxation . I had the delight today of taking David & Carol on a surprise Vintage Afternoon Tea Tour at The Lindeth Fell Country House ,this was a joint birthday gift from their son & daughter Phil and Amy , the look of surprise on their faces when they discovered they were going on vintage car ride was priceless !

Today Guiness and I got to play second fiddle , which was nice for a change , transporting flower girls , bridesmaids and parents of the bride Richard and Bev . The flower girls exclaimed “ This car is sick !!” , I am reliably informed this means good 😊.
I was supporting a 1932 Rolls Royce which was used as the bridal car , it was “Sick” also .😉😂

Had the most wonderful day today , even though I was melting in my tweed suit 🥵. I enjoyed a mini school reunion with the wonderful Siobhan , who I haven’t seen in 30+ years !! She’s not changed a bit , still an absolute star . Treated to a fantastic demonstration of her husband Martin’s skill at the potters wheel at Miles-Moore Ceramics and then I got to take their friends Mike , Steve and Ms Choi on a hour and a half tour followed by afternoon tea at the Lindeth Fell Country House .

We will be at Holker Hall tomorrow at “ The Cars The Star Show” organised by Kirkby Lonsdale Motor Club , it is well worth a visit and is a fun day out , with a very wide variety of vehicles on display ,why not drop by and visit us whilst you’re there .

Congratulations to Nancy (left) , who has been celebrating her Golden Wedding Anniversary this weekend. Nancy has treated her lifelong friends Jan and Marianne to a fantastic Vintage Afternoon Tea Tour of the Southern Lakes . We visited Hawkshead , Tarn Hows , Coniston and Skelwith Bridge before returning to the wonderful Lindeth Fell Country House Hotel for a delicious afternoon tea .
A great group of ladies who were very entertaining and it was a pleasure to drive them around this afternoon.

A very happy birthday to Nicky (left) , who has enjoyed a “ Grand Day Out “ tour today with her friend Christine . We ventured over Kirkstone Pass , past Ullswater and on to Threlkeld for a birthday lunch . Then to the Borrowdale Valley , Honister Pass , Buttermere , Crummock Water and through Whinlatter Forest and then headed south to Grasmere for tea’s and coffee’s . Finishing off the tour by heading to Hawkshead and finally catching the ferry to Bowness . A great full day and we didn’t let the rain dampen our spirits.
