Alice Fung has also practiced acupuncture to provide relief for women from problems like painful periods, premenstrual tension, and the onset of menopause.

Alice Fung's special clinical interests lie in treating stress-related disorders including insomnia, stiffness, anxiety, fatigue and depression, as well as problems like hair loss, and difficulty in conceiving a child. A one-hour visit is recommended as a first step. This includes: a detailed consultation, assessment and an explanation of the Chinese Medicine approach to the patient’s condition;

first application of acupuncture needles if appropriate; prescription of herbal medicine if appropriate.
