A new spirit event is coming this year in the form of the Dublin Drinks Mixer. It will be Ireland’s largest gin, spirits and cocktail event this April 17th & 18th, with over 60 exhibitors, all providing unique samples.

Organised by Celtic Whiskey Shop & Wines On The Green - the Dublin Drinks Mixer will celebrate the best of craft spirits and drinks from Ireland and across the globe, alongside delicious food pairings and innovative masterclasses under one roof.

Tickets are priced from €40 and a minimum of 25% will go to the charity Debra Ireland

Whiskey Legs or Whiskey Tears can tell you roughly the alcohol content of your whiskey. We explain this and more on our hotel/training course running in 2019. What do you call them?

Legs are caused by the Gibbs-Marangoni effect. Water and alcohol are both evaporated from the surface of the glass but alcohol is evaporated faster. The higher the level of alcohol, the longer the legs.
