Padargad - Leonid Meteor Shower
Another completely crowd free trek with only our group there, we spent the night stargazing and chilling under the open sky.
Morning started with breakfast and birthday celebrations for , followed by one crazy trek to Padargad, the only trek where you get to do chimney climbing. We had 6 kids (all aged 11-13) and being a moderate to difficult level trek, everyone able to reach the summit. Thanks to the whole group for being an amazing team and helping out each other wherever itโs needed.
Post trek, we celebrated the birthday for Shivam (who kept it a secret from us) but bhai birthday hai, came to katega hi. ๐ฅณ Thanks to him for spending his special day with us.
Sorry to those as we couldnโt accommodate everyone as chimney climbing takes a lot of time to climb through thatโs we had to restrict the number of entries.

Urban Trekkers successfully completed Everest Base Camp in collaboration with Nepal Hiking Team
Thanks to for being an amazing guide. Special thanks to for being an amazing leader as he is and be there for all at each and every step.
All members went there as close friends (part of Urban Trekkers family) as even before even EBC, the group had already done Bhimashankar trek as a practice trek, so it was a great way to form bonding there and then eventually lot of social meet ups to know each other.

Waterfall rappelling event at Ganpati Gadad yesterday successfully completed.
We had 3 kids participating in this event also, including Yami who was the youngest, only 7 years old.
Post event, a short trip to secret waterfall and delicious lunch at a restaurant made it an amazing trip

God Valley - Kalu Waterfall trek completed successfully yesterday.
Planning Kalu Waterfall for this particular date was perfect as it just got recently opened, hence there were no crowd yesterday and we were the only trek company when we reach at the base of waterfall. ๐
Also, it has been a rain less week, therefore it was much safer and as less flow, hence we were actually able to take a shower under Kalu Waterfall, swam in enormous multiple pools and did water slides which was so so fun! ๐

Bhimashankar trek (via Ganesh Ghat) successfully completed this weekend with this fun bunch of trekkers.
This is a good endurance trek as it takes approx. 4-5 hours of trek one way but each of us reached the summit including the youngest 13 year old Rudra, even though it was his first trek.
On the top, we all went for Bhimashankar temple and had Darshan at Jyotirlinga. Though it was Shravan and heavy crowd on the top, we got an easy access through VIP passes (available at the temple).
Hoping for another visit to Bhimshankar next year via Lonavala route.

Urban trekkers successfully completed Valley of Flowers trek with Hemkund Sahib (in collaboration with Namaste Himalayas & Travelmite)
Even though it was a peak season, we got completely crowd free trek (luck favouring us everywhere โบ๏ธ) and weather was pleasant throughout the trek. Luckily, no rains at all when we went there, except at Hemkund Sahib which was must needed.
Last day, we decided to have Darshan at Badrinath and then eventually visit Mana - The First Village of India

๐Jivdhan Fort trek (completely zero crowd till summit) got successfully completed by our trekkers this Sunday which had almost 50% of the beginners and couple of kids as young as 11 years old.
This definitely was one of the craziest treks which been done in a while as we were against extreme rains and thunder showers all the way right from beginning to end. The winds were so strong that at times, it literally flew us away.
The staircase and rock climbing experience through waterfall made this experience so memorable.

Offbeat trek to Songiri got successfully completed yesterday with our amazing group of trekkers.
A walk through railway tracks amidst mountains, a crowd free experience (on Sunday) made it all worth it.

What an amazing weekend with our first trip for Fireflies festivalโ 2023 to Bhandardara Lake with our 40+ trekkers.๐
After reaching the campsite, swimming at the lake, followed by a music jam session by our trekkers set up the night for a great start.
Post that, we went to see the fireflies in a nearby forest and trust us, it was magical. โจ๐Photos canโt capture that beauty.
After returning, post dinner, .music blew us away with his soulful voice and his guitar.
Overall, we had a great trip and hoping for the next two weekends to be great one as well. ๐

Another amazing trip with 30+ trekkers to offbeat waterfall this weekend. ๐
Almost half of the group consists of kids and teenagers who had a blast jumping off the cliff and swimming in the chilled pool. ๐คฉ
South Indian breakfast in the morning and lunch at at Manor, we all had a wonderful time.

One the eve of World Health Day, Sunrise Trek to Peb Fort was successfully completed this friday by Urban Trekkers where we had 9 kids/ teenagers (8-16 years) along with the adults.
It was a zero crowd trek as we were the only trekking company there so it made one of a kind experience to enjoy the nature in solace.
Chit-chat sessions while playing UNO and having snacks under the full moon; climbing exciting metallic stairs and preparing our own breakfast made it all together a unique and fun experience for all our trekkers.

What an amazing trip to Offbeat Waterfall this weekend. Kids as young as 7 year old did cliff jumping and we had a blast swimming in chilled and clean natural pool. ๐โโ๏ธ๐
We finished the trip with lunch at R Bhagat Tarachand and lassi at Bhajanlal dairy. A great trip with amazing group of people. ๐ฅฐ

Sandhan Valley 4.0 was successfully completed this weekend. This trek was organised on request by the trekkers of AMK and Jivdhan batch, as it was long due on their bucket list as they couldnโt get chance to do it earlier.
Luckily, this was the perfect time to do it as we found the whole valley completely empty and we were the only trekkers at the campsite.
It was an amazing experience sleeping under the open sky and watching the constellations and shooting stars/satellites.
What more, we had an amazing group of trekkers including the youngest trekker and we had a blast on this trek, with fun and laughters all along. ๐

It was crazy hot so as soon as we got outta there, lunch at Oberoi Mall seemed must. ๐
A day out with friends on weekend, singing and dancing in the bus ๐๐บ, it was a good start to the weekend.

Bicycle ride for kids at SGNP today with basics of map reading and treasure hunt; idea was to teach them to how to use the compass using coordinates, which is an essential surviving technique in wilderness.
And Kudos to all the kids for completing 25km ride, it was a tough ride with uphill and downhill but they did it. ๐

On the eve of World Mountain Day, Urban Trekkers in collaboration with SGNP-NIC conducted the trek to โHighest Point of Mumbaiโ at National Park today.
Over 25 students participated (aged 7-14 years)and each one of them reached to the summit (1535ft.) Reaching the top, the view was totally worth the climb.
Thanks to for making it such an informative trek ( and leading the trek from the front), where we learnt about the history of SGNP, flaura & fauna, climate change effects, we also got to see some rare lizards and snake skin during the trek and kids had their own masti during the trek. ๐ฌ
Kudos to all the kids for accomplishing the feat of conquering the highest summit of Mumbai. ๐
