Dahanu Mahalaxmi Fair is very famous and it lasts for fifteen days starting from Hanuman Jayanti from ancient time. Although the stalls now a days have changed their look in terms of material that is sold. Still, you will find few stalls showing barter exchange done by Tribals who collect non-timber produce from the forest and barter with shopkeepers for their daily needs. We saw seed of Crabs eye creeper, Tamarind, Gum Karaya tree, cashew etc were bartered from some daily needs. Varieties of wild fruits like Ber, Dhaman, Tadgolas, Khirni etc were sold at the market by tribal.

When you experience snowfall for the first time😊

When you encounter the #snowfall for the first time😊 We were reaching zero point, Sikkim and saw all vehicles were returning back without getting much snow. But, we wanted to reach the last spot and try our luck for snow pigeons and some other birds that can be sighted in the area. One the way we got the snowfall!! All of us were #mumbaikars and many of us were experiencing it for the first time. You can see the reaction in video. We stopped on the way as there were no other vehicle, enjoyed the snow, played in it, reached the final point, observed the #birdlife there.
