Ghetto Beach House

The Ghetto Beach House (GBH) is a vacation pool-house rental with a short walk to the Gulf of Mexico It is bright and beachy!

The Ghetto Beach House was purchased in 2006 as an investment property. You will see on the photo's, it was merely a cottage and in need of major repair. It was loved greatly in that state for several years until we decided it was time to retire the "old bones" and start anew. The new GBH was completed from the ground up, in 2011 and was our full time home until December of 2015 when we decided to

make it a beach rental and have for ourselves to enjoy in off weeks as well. There was some damage sustained in hurricane Ian in September of 2022. A full renovation, inside and out, was completed in early 2024 to bring the old GBH to new standards; expanding the lanai/pool area as well as installing all new flooring, cabinetry and paint to revitalize the house. The pool and spa are a great spot to getaway from any crowds and the new vinyl fencing offers even more privacy than before! The GBH has a near perfect location. With a mere 175 yards from the Gulf of Mexico and the perfect white beaches. Nearly the same walk to the start of all the shops, restaurants and bars Fort Myers Beach is so sought after for. Once you are at the GBH....you don't need a car. Taxi or Uber in and out....save that money for drinks and gifts! We love our beach home and we hope you do as well.
