Congratulations to all of our HGA Scholarship recipients! Students, families, sponsors, and HGA members convened at the Homosassa Civic Club’s Learning Center to celebrate these student’s accomplishments and enjoy refreshments from The Florida Cracker Kitchen.

Our guides will be cooking up fresh, hot hush puppies for sampling. Get you a bite of one of Old Homosassa’s guides tradition!

We'll give it another go this coming Sunday, February 25th for our annual fish fry fundraiser. Join us at MacRae's at noon to purchase your plate and buy a chance to win that awesome Yeti cooler filled with goods from our title sponsor, Sodium Fishing Gear.

The fish from our rained out event did not go to waste. Our members donated the fish to The Sanctuary in Homosassa and New Life Beginnings in Brooksville.

“Captain Kate - thank you for opening my eyes to the world of fishing, this is so much fun, exciting, I’m hooked.” This young angler will never forget her first ever day of fishing! These 5th grade ladies were all smiles after catching ladyfish, holding them and learning how to appreciate and respect the resource. It doesn’t get much better than that ❤️
