የአዳር ጉዞ ወደ አስደናቂው ወንጪ ሐይቅ እና ነጋሽ ሪዞርት
ወንጪ ከአዲስ አበባ ከተማ በስተምዕራብ 160 ኪሎ ሜትር በወሊሶ እና በአምቦ ከተማ መካከል ላይ የሚገኝ ከሺህ አመታት በፊት በተከሰተ እሳተ ገሞራ ፍንዳታ ምክንኛት የተፈጠረ ውብ ሐይቅ ያለበት ቦታ ነው። የወንጪ ሐይቅ በውስጡ ለአሳ ምግብነት የሚጠቅሙ ነገሮች ባለመኖራቸው ብዙ የአሳ ዝርያ የለበትም፣ በውስጡ አሳ አለመኖሩ ደግሞ ሐይቁ በጣም ንፁህ እና ከየትኛውም አይነት የውሃ ጠረን የፀዳ አድርጎታል። የወንጪ ሐይቅ ዙሪያውን ቀልብን በሚስቡ እና በሚማርኩ የተፈጥሮ ሐብቶች የታደለ ቦታ ነው- ለአብነት ያህል ጨዋማ ነጫጭ ድንጋዮች፣ በሰልፈር የቀሉ ረግረጋማ ቦታዎች፣ የሚፍለቀለቁ ትኩስ የታቆሩ ውሃዎች፣ የፈላ የፏፏቴ ውሃ እንዲሁም የተፈጥሮ ጋዝ ያለው የሚፈልቅ የምንጭ ውሃ ይገኝበታል::

በ 90,000 ስኩር ሜትር ቦታ ስፋት ላይ የከተመው ነጋሽ ሪዞርት በኦሮሚያ ክልል በወሊሶ ከተማ ይገኛል:: የነጋሽ ሪዞርት በተፈጥሮ ከታደለው ፍል ውሃ በተጨማሪ አገር በቀል ዛፎችን: አህዋፋትን እና እንስሳትን በውስጡ አቅፎ ይዟል: : በተጨማሪም የሪዞርቱ ሌላኛው መለያው ደግሞ የተለያዩ ብሔር ብሔረሰቦችን የቤት አሰራር ወካይ የሆኑ መኝታ ክፍሎች ከብሔረሰቡ መገልገያ ቁሳቁሶች፣ አልባሳትና ሌሎች የማንነት መገለጫዎቹ ጋር አካቶ የያዘ መሆኑ ነው::

🕓 የቆይታ ጊዜ- 2 ቀን / 1 ሌሊት

🛣 የቦታ ርቀት- 160 ኪሜ

🏞 የወንጪ ከፍታ ከባህር ጠለል በላይ- ከፍተኛው 3300 ሜትር (10827 ፊት) ካላ የሚባለው የጉዞ መነሻ ቦታ ሲሆን ዝቅተኛው 2500 ሜትር (8202 ፊት) ሐይቁ የተኛበት ቦታ ነው::

🏞 የጉዞ አስቸጋሪነት- ለጀማሪ በመጠኑ ከበድ ያለ ሊሆን ይችላል:: ሆኖም ልምድ ላለው/ላላት ተጟዥ ቀላል የሚባል አይነት ነው::

💵 የጉዞ ጥቅል ዋጋ- 2000 ብር በሰው
** ለጥንዶች: እንዲሁም በግሩፕ ሆነው ለሚመጡ ሰዎች የ 5% ቅናሽ አድርገናል::

Ethnological Museum of the Institute of Ethiopian studies, AAU

The Ethnological Museum of the Institute of Ethiopian Studies (IES) is located within the main Sidist Kilo campus of the Addis Ababa University (AAU) , and is one of the well organised museums in the country. It was established in 1963 upon the idea of preserving the nation’s heritage, conduct research and education as well as assist the teaching-learning process at the AAU’.

This specialized university affiliated museum has over 13,000 various items including secular/religious manuscripts, icons, ceremonial items, paintings, gold and silver embroidered robes, umbrellas , crosses and books in its collection. Some items date from the early Aksumite period.

The collection was acquired from donations by various benefactors, through purchase as well as through inheritance. Collections are well kept and displayed in good showcases for easy viewing by visitors and handled by trained conservationists.

Being a university affiliated museum, it undertakes various research projects related to heritage and museum studies.

The National Museum------It Exhibits

Paleontological and Pre-historical Discoveries- the most significant discoveries of stone tools, fossil evidences of hominid species among which a 3.2 million years old fossil nick named LUCY or DENKINESH is the most famous and other animals found from the rift valley and other animals found from the rift valley and other major archaeological sites (Hadar, Middle Awash, Omo basin, Melka Kunture etc) dating back to millions of years. These dating back to millions of years; these discoveries attest to the presence of a sophisticated way of life of our ancestors.

Historical Archaeology Findings- According to the evidences obtained by archaeologists, the history of Ethiopia dates back to the 1st millennium BC on the basis of diverse historical evidences. The displayed objects in this section show few of the findings depicting the early history from the pre-Axumite times to the 20th century AD. You will also see the Throne of Emperor Haile sellassie I in this section of the museum.

The national Museum of Ethiopia is the home for over 1500 traditional and contemporary works of art such as painting, drawings, graphics, Sculptures.

Ethiopia is home for various nations, nationalities and people who have diverse languages, cultures and unique ways of life. This section of the museum is organized to share the richness and variety of the cultures and traditions of the peoples of Ethiopia.

Addis Ababa
The name of the capital city of Ethiopia means in Amharic “New Flower”. Founded in 1886 by Menelik II, it is located at an average altitude of 2,500 m above sea level with one of the highest parts being the Entoto mountain chain (3,000m above sea level).

Addis Ababa offers a pleasant climate all year round, with an average temperature of 16°C. The population is around 5 Million people, living in an area of almost 550 km². The metropolis is not only geographically the heart of the country, but also the center for commerce, trade, traffic and politics. The African Union has established its headquarters here. Most countries are represented by their embassies in Addis Ababa.

The capital city is a melting pot of cultures and languages. The inhabitants consist of all the Ethiopian tribes as well as many foreigners from Africa, Europe, Asia and America.
Addis Ababa is a pleasant city with wide avenues of jacaranda trees, interesting museums, parks and a variety of cultural and culinary offers. It hosts one of the largest open air markets in Africa, known as the “Merkato”.
